It's the most common eSIM issue — and usually a 60-second fix. Your plan is working; your phone just connected to the wrong network. Here's how to switch it back.
Turn on Data Roaming
Enable roaming for your eSIM line. It won't cost extra.
Turn off Automatic
Disable automatic network selection in carrier settings.
Pick the supported network
Choose your eSIM's network from the list and wait ~30s.
Your eSIM is provisioned on specific partner network(s) in each country. By default, phones use automatic network selection and can lock onto a different, unsupported network. When that happens you may see "No Service", a network name but no data, or full signal bars yet nothing loads.
It doesn't only happen on arrival
Your eSIM may work perfectly when you land, then drop data later in the trip. Your phone can jump to an unsupported network on its own — after losing signal in a tunnel or building, restarting, or moving between regions — and it usually won't switch back automatically. If data stops mid-trip, just select the supported network manually again.

Tip: The supported network(s) for your eSIM are shown on its details page in your eSIMs dashboard. For example, an eSIM for Tajikistan connects through MegaFon.

Your eSIM works on specific partner networks in each country. Phones default to automatic network selection and can latch onto a network the eSIM does not support, so the plan stays active but no data flows. This can happen on arrival or later in the trip — the phone may work fine at first, then jump to an unsupported network after losing signal or moving between areas, and it usually will not switch back on its own. The fix is to turn off automatic selection and pick the supported network manually.
Yes. eSIMs connect to local partner networks abroad, which counts as roaming on your device. Turning on Data Roaming for the eSIM does not incur extra charges — your plan's data is already paid for.
Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data, tap your eSIM plan, open Network Selection, turn off Automatic, then choose the supported network from the list.
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs, select your eSIM, turn off 'Choose network automatically', then pick the supported network manually.
Open your eSIM in the eSIMfly dashboard — the supported network(s) for each country are listed on the eSIM details page. If you still cannot connect, contact support by email or WhatsApp with your order details.
