Between the two headliners: light users should lean Airalo, heavy daily users who value simplicity lean Holafly. The third row is why this page exists — in Turkey, the USA, the UK, Japan and Thailand, eSIMfly's unlimited plans undercut Holafly's by 25–60% for 30 days, and our fixed 5 GB plans undercut Airalo's in every destination shown (often with 30-day validity instead of 7). Where we're not clearly ahead: India and Canada unlimited pricing is close between all three — compare all of them for those trips.
For light and moderate data use, Airalo - its fixed packs start around $4-5 for 1 GB while Holafly only sells unlimited plans from about $11.90 for 3 days. For genuinely heavy daily use over a longer trip the gap narrows: Holafly's 30-day unlimited ran $68.90-$111.90 depending on destination when we checked (July 24, 2026), against Airalo's unlimited at roughly $69-$99 for 30 days. eSIMfly (who wrote this page) undercuts both in most of these destinations - see the table.
Holafly sells unlimited-data plans and its destination pages describe a fair-usage policy as a "temporary speed reduction... for no more than one day" during congestion, without publishing a numeric daily cap on those pages. Hotspot sharing is capped (commonly 1 GB/day). Airalo's and eSIMfly's unlimited plans both disclose a specific structure: 3 GB/day at full speed, then about 1 Mbps. No travel eSIM offers uncapped full-speed data indefinitely - the difference is how clearly the limits are disclosed.
For a 3-5 day trip with normal use (maps, social, messaging), a 3-5 GB fixed pack is usually the best value - that favors Airalo between these two. If you refuse to think about data at all, Holafly's short unlimited plans (from ~$11.90 for 3 days) buy that peace of mind. eSIMfly's short unlimited plans were cheaper than both in Turkey ($5.98/3 days) and Japan ($7.43/3 days) when we checked.
